When someone asks for a favor how do you respond?
Do you respond different depending on who is asking?
Say that the person is someone close to you.
Do you help out as if it was no big deal? Or do you help out reluctantly?
For the most part, I feel like I'm pretty consistent with my attitude towards favors, regardless of who is asking. If it is someone close, say close friend or family, I will happily do it (doesn't mean I'm smiling though). I will not complain, and I will not make you feel like you owe me anything. And the person that asks for the favor should not owe me anything. I had a chance to decline, but I did not. Therefore I am willingly doing it.
If you do favors to get favors back, then you should stop doing favors for people, because you are setting yourself up for disappointment. Ultimately someone will let you down.
Favors are acts of kindness. KINDNESS. There should not be any animosity.
This is just my opinion on the matter. But I feel that it is pretty fair.
